Our Electrical scope of this design-build project was to repair several key airfield components on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island’s (NASWI) airfield. Seattle’s Energy Disclosure Ordinance (#123226), which was signed into law by the mayor on February 4, 2010, imposes new regulations for owners of non-residential and multi-residential buildings located within the city. Small wind, as wind power is referred when used for residential or commercial buildings, has recently benefitted from an extension of renewable energy tax credits. This gives building owners a $1,000 or a $4,000 tax credit for residential or commercial systems, respectively.
